Bibliography is a list of sources the material of which was used while writing an essay, a dissertation, a course paper or a research paper. Bibliography is usually put at the end of the paper in the format of the citation style required. It is important to present bibliography in the proper way as any person might need to use the same sources one has already used and indicated in bibliography.
There are two main types of bibliography:
- Enumerative bibliography
The basic information to be provided in the enumerative bibliography as to the source of the material cited is the author of the source, might it be a book or a small article, apart from the author the subject, topic etc. It can be arranged in different ways
- Annotated bibliography
The main distinguishing feature of annotated bibliography, as an academic type of assignment, is that it describes the source indicated and proves it to be a very interesting, important and useful one. The descriptions are not long as their aim is to introduce the source, to provide basic information about the source cited so that a person looking for a right source for his/her research paper or simply a report wastes no time and finds what he\she needs at once.
