Career-related jobs
Career-related jobs are those that help you to gain experience and even connections in the field of your chosen future career. Alternatively, if you are not yet decided on a career, such jobs can help you get to know various fields and thus help you choose a career.
Unless you plan to become a university professor, researcher, or IT technician, career-related jobs will likely be outside the university campus. Nevertheless, they have the main advantage that they effectively complement your study and can help you tremendously in the long term. Simply search for part-time jobs in environments that are as close as possible to what you would like doing after you graduate.
For instance, if you study arts, try to find a part-time job at an art gallery, art shop or artist’s workshop. If you study IT or computer science, seek a part-time job in a company that designs, develops, maintains or sells software.
